After visiting many of the tour company offices in Uyuni, Andes Salt Expeditions was clearly the best choice for our 3-day trip. The no-nonsense owner, Braulio, set us up with all the information and preparation we'd need. He very helpfully gave us a place to park our own car for the 3 days too. Our driver, Vladimir, was an absolute... More

Booked with Andes Salt Expeditions based on the TA reviews. Didn't get to go with them because they farmed us out to someone else. We had a decent truck but the guide just drove. We were told the guide would do the perspective photos and we would visit fish island. No help with photos like most other guides. Wouldn't keep... More

We did the 3d/2n tour at Salar de Uyuni with Andes Salt in late January. We were originally planning on doing just the one day trip to the Salar but were convinced by a very frindly and informative lady working in their office that we should go for a longer tour, and we did not regret that desicion for a... The nature (salar de uyuni, lagunas, geysers ) is unique and spectacular!! And Andes Salt Expeditions in general and the guide #Wladimir in special made this tour an unforgeable experience! Muchas Gracias!

We enjoyed the tour very much. The landscapes are amazing of course, at times it feels like your in the places of Planet Earth or the Disney Nature films. (A desert fox came scavenging very close to the jeep as if he was being filmed for a documentary) But of course half the trip is the people you travel with.... More

I went on the Uyuni tour with the driver/guide Vladimir starting on the 18.01.2017. The car, Toyota LandCruiser was not the newest but comfortable and had no problems. Vladimir is a very good driver and was a good en funny guide. We could plug in our own music, he bought espescially a cable for it! Really nice. The tour was... More

I was on the tour with the driver/guide Vladimir starting on the 18.01.2017. The car, Toyota LandCruiser was not the newest but comfortable and had no problems. Vladimir is a very good driver and despite going relatively fast I newer felt unsafe. This way we had more time at the stops as most of the others. The tour was in... More

Of course Salar d'Uyuni is just outstanding, but what makes amazing a tour is definitively the guide and the group you travel with. Both was so cool! Our guide Vladimir did some crazy clipvideos of us to have a souvenir different from all other groups, he was also a good cook and an amazing driver (he also tried to speak... More

We had a great time on this trip seeing the uyuni desert (both dry and wet parts). Also saw some beautiful lagoons, llamas, alpacas, flamingos and a fox called Antonio! We also went to a hot spring and saw several geysers and a large volcano up close. We were lucky to have Vladimir as our guide, who was fantastic. He... More

We booked a day tour through Republica tour and took overnight bus to Uyuni for the salt flats tour. We arrived too early at 5am and waited for few hours in the cold until 10.30am, when the tour started. We hopped on and began the tour. The guide didn't speak English, as claimed by their big signage. Our 4x4 broke... More
