This is a must-see experience. Hard to believe you are driving on layers of salt, crystals and water. We were there in the Bolivian winter, so no moisture on the salt, but I can imagine some disorientation when the sky gets reflected on the water standing on the salt. Be sure to stop at the Isla Incahuasi which is one... More

We got a great guide Carla and driver Diego who made a perfect team to take us safely throughout this journey! There are so much more to see in the south flats apart from the salar itself, so consider taking more time to explore the area. 1. Tour - we chose to do the tour in reverse which means we... More

The Salt Flats are really something to see. Do the 3 day tour! No wifi, but gorgeous sights throughout the mountains and knowledgeable guides.

We recently completed the Salt Flats 3 day tour into Chile with Red Planet - the 'premium' company that we paid more for. The Salt Flats are AMAZING, but this review is more on the tour guide side. Our guide, Louis, from Red Planet - was awful. He was completely over his job except for when he was hitting on... More

I urge you not to take TOUR Y BOL for visiting Uyuni and its region ! Very bad experience with them ! I was travelling with my girlfriend and they forced us to be separated all the tour during 3 days : travelling in different jeeps, waiting at each visit and even sleeping in different hôtels... Also guides don't speak... More

I did hours of online and physical research on which tour company to pick. After talking to a couple who had just come back, we decided on empexsa. Despite the mixed reviews the tour was flawless, and our driver, Lino was excellent. 800bs each for three days, transfer to Chile and sleeping bags.

Out of this world if you've never been to salt flats before. Sometimes cold, not often wet, and sun block is recommended. Big sky, and views, and the islas are amazing, if you can catch your breath, though, solitude is amiss, after all, it's a huge piece of Bolivian tourism. It's doubtful that you'd need more than a day here,... More

Beautiful landscapes, Flamingos, Geysers, Worlds largest salt Flats what not to like. It will be the best 3 days in Bolivia bar none. The only thing that will be poor is the food and no matter what you spend all the groups food are basically the same. It will be amazing

We booked our tour in Sucre, with a very helpful and informative gentleman at Mia Tours. We were told to go to Adventura Mistica when we go to Uyuni, which we did, and were met with another helpful and friendly man who had organised our jeap, driver etc. However, our driver was not a helpful, friendly or even remotely nice...
