The Salar had been on our list forever and we weren't disappointed. Everything and more you ever wanted. Be prepared to pay extra for a proper jeep - best are the Toyotas - and to have ideally only 4 of you in the car. Less...More

Bolivia is a great trek from Europe, and many of the 'attractions' rather moderate, but to see the salt flats is amazing. It is probably worth going just for these. The salt flats are unlike anything else - surreal and beautiful.
