This little town is very friendly and theres not that much people, great to hang around but at night it gets lighted for christmas, qll streets and buildings are lighted qnd is very beautiful

Surprisingly a great place to spend an afternoon/evening or morning before or after going to the Guatika zoo/park that stays in the town at a 10 min. ride by car from the city centre. You can find shops and restaurants and for the Christmas a great decoration with lights and stuff. Typical fruit there is the "feijoa". You will find absolutely everything made of it.…

This quaint little town in Boyacá, Colombia is about two hours norht of Bogota. It is clean and quiet, it is colonial and well preserved. They have feijoa, an endemic fruit that can be compared to guava, I believe they belong to the same family, only feijoa is green and has a rather tart flavor, if youeat the peeling which is soft and really sweet inside. The church is beautifully preserved and you can walk around the streets feeling safe and free. Come around Christmas time, they will have the town nicely decorated.…

Great town square. Be sure to buy your bottle of sabajon, the local liquor specialty. It's best to visit with the Christmas lights but the charm is there year-round. There are a couple of good restaurants too... Boyaca Real on the square and Salvaje Amistoso on the hillside.

Tibasosa is a beautiful village and a must see in Boyaca. The park and church with the mountains as a backdrop is simply magical! The village grows a fruit, feijoa, from which they make a sweet and creamy liquor. I also tried it as fresh juice. Up in the mountains there is an adventure park worth visiting. We had the most delicious lunch in Boyaca Real, an amazing restaurant with views over the park. So good, we went back for dinner! …
