We took a bus ride to cultural center. We took a long time to get there. It was worth it. The ceremony to drink cava, the dances and the mats were all wonderful. The rest of the tour was not as good.

This Museum has now been closed due to lack of funding and the artifacts transferred to the Museum at Tupou College at Toloa. The Museum there is well worth a visit so call the College Office.

Had high hops for a little cultural experience and learning about the Tongan people. But the centre was rundown and felt abandoned. No one was even there to tell us it was shut down and even the restaurant was completely unoccupied.
