Hiking this island is interesting but very hot so one must carry his or her own water bottles in order to survive this activity. And the park has a beautiful view when at the top while seeing various animals running and other having a rest....More

Lovely island. Enjoyed the antelopes and plains. KWS warden Mr Langat very pleasant man. Fun times with the family.

went there in December on a school trip. Just from the boat ride to the island one sees numerous bird species and it was just amazing. the hike to the top was fun. they offer good camping facilities with clean water and tents

Take your water bottles and good sun protection...hiking this island is hot and if you don't hike much, strenuous! That said, it offers beautiful unspoiled vistas and some wildlife. Not for those in poor health or with young children.
