Took an hour lake tour, great place for bird watching with and endless number of species. Also got some great views of a pack of hippos, interesting story to see how the lake overtime has just swallowed up more and more land. Good place to...More

All though we did not stay at the campground, just walking around it I would recommend it. Beautiful view of the lake, nice grounds.

Perfect environment for camping although it can be a bit cold in the evening and early morning. Food is great. Ordered chicken and roasted potatoes. Yummy!!

A good day picnic site, though the wash facilities could be improved especially for young children..

There are many boats which take you around the lake and then onto crescent island. There are hippos by the coast and the ride on the lake was very pleasant.

Did a boat safari on this alkaline lake. Unfortunately, as water levels have been rising, its main draw (flamingos) had left, the remainder is nice but nothing you won't see on any of the other lakes (hippos, pelicans, large array of other birds).
