Its a very beautiful place with potential but the place gets worst every time i visit , the staff are not professional at all, one of the staff( male) kept on bad -mouthing the employer/owner. cresent island used to be an amazing experience where visitors could ride horses as they tour around the park. For the local tourist i can't... More

I would highly recommend visiting Crescent Island Game Park. However, ensure you bring enough water for the trip and that you are well covered. I would also recommend having a tour guide to show you around as it really makes the trip more special!

Crescent Island is East Africa in miniature. Associated with Sanctuary Farm, Crescent Island offers a close up glimpse of Giraffes, Wildebeast, Zebras, Hippos and a variety of other wildlife in a peaceful environment. Our guide was knowledgeable and helpful – in fact a charming man. We had a very pleasant chat with the owner, who has been in Kenya since... More

My partner and I spent a half day in Crescent Island and loved it! We reached it via boat and the trip itself was a stunning experience because you can see hippos and amazing birds. At the Island, we did not opt for a guide because we had been recommended to roam around on our own, I.e. The Island is... More

We paid the entry fees to the boat operator and were taken through a illegal entry without providing us any tickets. The animals in the island visit the lodges and locations across the lake during the night. No need to waste time and money to visit this island.

Quite the ambience.. serene... and the mere thought of walking around the place with the wild animals not caged was great... key to note there are presence of apparently free guides whom u dnt even get to see. Let down in that perspective

You can get to crescent island by boat or by driving through sanctuary farm. If diving, just plan a lunch or dinner at sanctuary farm, and walk around for much the same wild life experience without the crescent island ticket price.
