One thing this offers that Masai Mara doesn’t is that you can go on the boats and get really close to the hippos . It is a small park but has unque things to offer, such as the boat ride and eagles.

The hardest thing here is finding the turn off the main road. However it is more than worth it. You pass through Sanctuary Farm (seeing plenty of wildlife) and pay KES 300 to get through. Passing over a causeway you are on Crescent Island. We...More

Fantastic small island in Lake Naivasha. Go here if you like bird watching. Furthermore there are troops of wildebeest, buffalos, impalas and zebras on the island, they say also giraffes but didn't see them.

Yes it feels safe. The Hippos are in a specific area. The boat doesn't go too close to the Hippos anyway. It's a lovely quiet ride. I had checked the weather forecast for the day we were planning to go. It was going to be... More

We arrived by road. Yes I would say 2 hours is plenty of time to wander around and I can't answer about the guide as we came with our own guide. Enjoy.
