This National Park is very interesting. It's unique in that the amount of wild life isn't optimum but it has a few key attractions that make it very worthwhile. You can rent bikes for a very reasonable rate and safely take long rides throughout the...More

We had a great time . Our kids are 4 and 9. They both had fun navigating difficult sections of the gorge. Our guide called Joseph was friendly and quite helpful to the kids and us. He is well informed and taught us a lot...More

Hell's Gate is a quite varied National park strongly influenced by volcanics - there are still hot springs and one can even feel hot sands in places. The Olkaria geothermal power plant (biggest in Africa) is inside the park and actually quite interesting to see...More

As everyone says, this place is beautiful, surprising, and challenging. A couple of tips: don't bring elderly people or babies here if you want to actually hike into the gorge. I think other reviewers undersell how physically challenging this can be for some people. This...More

Hi there fellow travelers, With some friends we were thinking about camping at the park for 2 nights. We have found little information online about the how to of camping there. How much does it cost to camp? I saw in one place that it was 15 USD, is that per person or tent. Are there any other fees aside from that and the entrance fee? What kind of amenities are there? Important things to bring? Any information and tips will be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Cata

How much did it cost you for rock climbing? Lastly,do you pay Hell's Gate National Park entry fees and pay again to go to the gorges or the price paid to enter is inclusive? Thanks

The fee for a Kenyan Citizen is 300 KSH. Check out Kenya Wildlife Service Website for additional information. The 300 KSH entrance Fee gets you into the Park and into the Gorge. I rented a bike before entering park and... More
Hi, We are coming in December and will be driving from Masai Mara to Lake Naivasha. The same day we plan to visit Hell's Gate. I will appreciate if someone can answer: 1) How much time you need to bike through the Hell's gate? 2) I hear the hike through the gorge is a must. When you reach the gorge, where do you keep the bicycles ? Or we can only do one or the other; Hike or bicycling? thank you,
