My navigating experience

The museum provided me with a lot of detailed information about when Bartolomeu Dias came to explore. I really liked walking on the ship as well.

Was dragged to this museum - nothing much but a replica of the boat of Diaz. Really SA, learn how to make a museum come to life!!!!

Was so nice showing the children what we learnt in school as they don't learn about any history anymore.

If you like museums and history, this is one you have to visit. The museum is free and only if you want to go on the boat you pay a little contribution.

The Bartolomeu Dias Museum is a must see when you are in the area. It's informative and interesting. It's great that you are able to get onto the replica and look into the cabins, galley, etc. Also, take a walk around the little park and sit under the impressive "post office" tree.

Visited again after a good 10+ years of being at the museum. Great memories, both times around. Informative, hands on and worth a visit. The museum complex includes an aquarium too. Good activity for all ages. R20 for adults to board the Dias ship - give it a go!

Very relaxed atmosphere, some very informative and interesting things to see as well. Definitely a must see if you are in the area! The ship is very impressive and I would recommend paying the small fee to go on board!

Loved the visit. Great history displays. Very relaxing environment. Entrance fees were amazing. Do not miss out on this visit, it's worth it. It was the highlight of our visit to Mossel Bay.
