Well maintained and clean. The actual ship is great to visit and walk around on and imagine crossing the ocean on. The garden was well maintained too and lovely to just relax in.

We arrived to visit the museum and found that it was a birthday party! There was a lot of local people as well as the province culture Minister. The caravel is superb and worth the visit.

Detoured specifically to see this museum. Great display of the Dias boat that rounded the Cape first and information around sea exploration through history.

Also very interesting to see with what primative equipment they kept their course -- compare to today's GPS. Also in the complex is an excellent representation of local sea life and good... More

The replica of the ship is really impressive and worth a visit. Then there are tons of information (=too much for me) on the walls that needs a lot of time to digest ;-)

A lovely place to find all the information about Bartolomeu Dias. A nice experience, and definately worth the visit. The enormous replica of the ship is really something to behold.
