Excellent place to spend a day

Another amazing history site back to 3000 years more ago. Building in this park are thousand years old. A spring fountain still working even after several thousand years.

This park is more than 1500 years old. Famous park visited by royalties of various dynasties and source of inspiration for many great poets. Amazing carvings of dragons on the main shrine dedicated to the Mother of one of the founding ancient dynasties. Located within the park is one of the 19 pagodas in China which houses the Buddha's relic.

I visted it a couple of years ago, not in 2015, but the system only offers the year of 2015. I reached there when it is still warm. The green meadow and historical architecture were really unforgettable.

We went here to get a moment for our new granddaughter for her heritage and was happy to wander into a museum to learn some history from the area.

A must for the visit to Taiyuan. We were in a 22 member group and my local guide was able to explain many of the details of the Park. There was a excellent Chinese painting collection by the late famous artist 董寿平, not to be missed

This place is one of the better Cultural places I have visited . The Temples have been mainly left in their real state with no repainting of them . They are in the state they should be , they have been preserved well and are a delight to see . There are also many ancient trees and the gardens are... More

This park has beautifull buildings from the song dynasty (960-1279), the rooftops are amazing beautifull colours. Nice gardens we spend about 2 hours in this park before we drove on to Pingyao another beautifull place you should visit when you are in the neighbourhood.

First, there are two parts of this sight. The outside is free to enter but it's a newly built park. It's beautiful with gardens. The historical sight is at the end of the park and requires ticket. The main temple was built in Song dynasty. There is also a famous spring. There are quite a few guides would approach you... More
