1) another badly manage tourist area, lots of tourists scam 2) very dirty environment, no one cleaning the place 3) are they sure it is ancient building? Looks bit fake 4) too many unwanted tourist guide hanging around, oftenly over charge foreigners.

A must do in Taiyuan, the garden was tranquil and beautiful. There was not many tourists when visited which enhanced our enjoyment. There were many original carvings and calligraphy written by the emperors.

Though it is a long-story temple, I do not think I visited at a good time because there were a large quantity of visitors. So remember to avoid travelling peak time.
