This pagoda was built as a trade mark showing this place is Bagan for ancient traders. Earliest Pyu-styled small pagoda is giving good views and breeze as located on the bank of the river. And it is good for sunset and sunrise at dawn and...More

located just beside the river, offers a different experience compared to the other pagodas. Crowded with locals but it allows you to witness a little bit of the local life. Easily accessible with ebike.

This structure is quite different to others in the area. Nice market place in the vicinity. Pretty location on the river

This is a good place to see sunset if you don't want to take the Aeyarwaddy River Cruise. Buphaya is next to the river bank so the view is spectacular.

This pagoda is small and it's close to the river. I liked it as the shape is simple but not obsvious.

Directly at the Ayeyarwadi River you can find this stunning little pagoda. From there you can enjoy a breathtaking view over the mighty river. Also take a boat for the sunset from there, it is unique.

A must see , during the sunset , it will give you the best pictures. There is also a very cult Buddha temple ( no shoes of course )

Quick stop, but it has amazing views of the river! Great area for people watching in general. The original pagoda was destroyed in an earthquake.

The flow of the river, even during the monsoon, makes this a peaceful and beautiful Pagoda to visit. It stands isolated above the swirling waters and gives one the feeling of space and freedom standing on its white marble. Sadly this is a reconstruction of...More
