This is Legazpi City's port area where you can catch a glimpse of busy fishermen working on their catch or preparing to sail out into the sea. You also have a nice view of Mayon Volcano from its quay. A portion of it has a line-up of eateries and even a commercial complex called the "Embarcadero de Legazpi." Unfortunately, the latter falls short of proper upkeeping and has very limited shops and eateries.

When I read the reviews about Embarcadero, it sounded like it's really a nice place that's why I went there after landing to Legazpi. The place was OK but my expectation was so high that's why I got disappointed. There's a duty free (small one), boutique, seaside restaurant, puregold, hotel ecotel (I don't recommend).

What I like about the place though, is the native goods which is half the price compared to Manila. I also like the shirt shop (very cheap), and Gilian's Sea Wharf restaurant (serving is very generous). Again, not a bad place but is a little overrated.

No one does this sort of muti-entertainment restaurant/shop/function area like Filipinos. It is clearly still being built, and it will never be as large as Mall of Asia in Manila ( the largest Mall in Asia), but add the stunning back-drop of both the sea, port and Mount Mayon Volcano and its a winner. Also further around the sea front are now a variety of bars with live music and nicely remote but easily accessible! Hardly worth eating anything other than the fresh seafood, afterall landed only metres away from the complex itself!

Back in the day, It was absolutely great with BIGGS, Tapa King, And Duty free, Now the mall looks so terrible, It actually reminded me of South China Mall in Dongguan China. Its hot, and the stores are closing, its empty, Theres alot of locals with barely any tourists, Its as if Legazpi and its perfect cone Mayon, is now a poor crappy and Chaka (Which means ugly in Filipino) Seriously this needs renovation, Otherwise this CAN be listed in the top 10 worst shopping malls in the world. Ghost hunters obcourse can visit here if they want, Just saying.

In my first visit in Legazpi, Embarcadero was the popular mall in the city. it was a tourist attraction wherein you can find the popular restaurants. with the prime location. within the coastal side of Legazpi and the view of the imposing Mayon Volcano. However, with the influx of Manila's famous Mall chain, SM and Ayala. It seems that Embarcadeo was left in. The Mall has a number of vacant stores now and a little dark. Hopefully, the developer continue the development and make the area more vibrant.

It's near to see so seabreeze is obvious.
From here you can see also the mount Mayon.

We went walking around the place, didn't buy anything coz we think it's a bit pricey compare to buying outside.

Food and drinks around here too hips of them. If you don't care about the price well it's just alright.

I went to this place, sadly, mostly of the tenants abandoned the place, it lost its glory since they opened. It is situated in a good location but it so freaky to roam around with very few shops and restos to go to

Run down and extremely ill maintained place. My sis and bro in law stayed in their hotel and they regretted their decision so much they checked out the following day and did not even bother asking for a refund for the remainder of a week.

Kudos to the city government of Legazpi for creating this place. The place is dotted with fine restaurants and a good walkway. Not far, is a long stretch of beach where one can stroll. To top it all, wherever you walk, you can feel as if Mount Mayon is watching over every step you make.

Not so much attractions. Well, the place was perfect for wandering. Its quite and peaceful. But the tourists must be careful because its dangerous when it gets dark.
