There are so many things to eat. There is a new kimbap restaurant nearby, and it was really new and delicious the first time I tried it. I highly recommend pollack sashimi kimbap and grilled pollack roe kimbap. It's really good to eat cold and cold.

My family visited this market for buying some delicious food on our trip. The market had good mood, and well-managed. There was more modern than another local and traditional market. Not big area, but various delicious food made us happy. The parking area was a little busy, and many restaurant and Home Plus was near. We bought some food, Sweet and Sour Chicken, fish cake croquette, and so on.

The market was a site to behold. The market is huge. It's bigger than Jeongseon Arirang Market and Pyeongchang Market. The market is separated into two: the wet market and dry market sections. The wet market is located in the basement. It's easy to find since there is a sign but it's in Korean and you can see a wet way down the slope. That's the clue that it is the wet market down that way. There were a lot of goods in the market. We tried the hotteok ice cream and it was really good. You can also find a great deal of clothes and socks. We bought a lot of cute socks and it only costs 1,000 won each.
Just make sure to know which direction you were walking from because you might get lost. Yes, the market is that big! Outside the market, you can find also stores around tbe area like coffee shops, bakeries, daiso, branded clothes store and other restaurants.
If you want to eat at a traditional korean restaurant, you can find it on the third floor of the building in the market. I remember coming from the basement wherein the wet market is and then we walked up several flight of stairs to reach the floor wherein there were a lot of traditional korean restaurant setting.

A true Korean food and merchandise open air market experience (still covered inside a large building but not enclosed) everything from clothing to food of all types. Plenty of food vendors also cooking and selling prepared dishes to snack on!

It's a traditional market with delicious foods that looks like modern and a mixture of western food. Some of them really looks like traditional korean food but I was fascinated with the food they sell which looks like hamburger patty. The taste is so good and you would absolutely agree that it's something unique where you can only try it in Korea. You'll be surprise with the price as well. Way cheaper than I expected .

This is the by far, the best Korean market I've been to. From the fresh vegetables, fruits and seafoods to cute socks and delicious snacks you can munch on while walking around, Gangneung has it! The people are really nice and welcoming which makes us buy most of the snacks they are selling! I recommend all of you to never miss the chance and visit this market whilst in Korea!

It was fun to walking around the big market area. Street Foods were the most memorable things. Besides, traditional business model gave fun in shopping.

Jungang Market is the area's traditional market. Here you will find local food, dried fish of all types, farmers selling their harvest and stores selling a wide range of good. There is a wide range of street food from the strange and exotic to the sweet desserts. I would recommend going downstairs and visiting the tradition fish market as well. There are some strange looking fish down there and watch the fishmongers wield their sharp knives and work their magic. You'll see octopus, king crab, squid, urchins and a lot of other types of fishes down there. This place is worth a visit for sure.

If you want to eat, you can find everything in this market. Good and inexpensive. In particular, we made a noodle restaurant very popular with locals.
