We had a rainy day and decided, after a visit of the lighthouse to continue our journey toward this museum.
The kids were invited to climb on the walls, which was great and Henry was of great support.
The museum looks very instructive and we would be happy to receive translated pages of the Korean legends.
This makes Sokcho look like the capital of mountaineering and I hope one fine day, Chamonix will be taking this as an example.
Imagine, a free instructive didactic museum on the mountains...
Thank you Henry for the visit and the climb.

The building is massive in four floors, but content wise there is not so much to see, it's more like a working museum for people who wants to go climbing in the mountains. They have training courses, a small "running" wall for smaller kids and a large field for older kids / adults. There is an area with equipment used and "famous" Southkoreans, who have climbed Mount Everest etc.
