really expensive, and the workshops were closed..complete waste of time. there is a small larimar shop coming down from casa bonita that has cheaper things..

Unfortunately the school is closed on Sundays but the shop is open. The larimar here is way nicer than in any of the stalls/shops around DR. Prices are good and fixed - no bargaining. No hassle lots of choice.

We went see this museum (better to tell shop ) and we were surprised by this lovely jewels made by larimar for very good prices.

This museum is actually a store were you can shop, at very good prices, jewels made by local artisans, with the native semi-precious stone, larimar. But be aware! If you're looking for a piece of stone, not a jewel, just look for along the road (direction East) where local people sell these stones at a price a quarter or less ...…
