Steven was our guide in Las Cuevas de Cabarete. He made our trip there fun and enjoyable. Although it was heavy raining it was an unforgettable experience in the Jungle of Dominican Republic!! We paid 20 dollars per person, in case you are wondering. :) Enjoy!

Our guide, Will, made this an exceptional experience. His knowledge of the caves and the surrounding terrain were profound and insightful. We saw amazing sites, learned a lot, and had a wonderful day that we will never forget. HIGHLY RECOMMEND visiting the caves of cabarete - ask for Will to be your guide . . . you will not regret it!

these are miniature caves. guide tells a few jokes and walks you around takes about 45 minutes. TOTAL RIPOFF at $20 per person. Government should shut this sham operation down but its the only way for a foreign tourist to see them.

This is a must do if you have an afternoon while in Cabarete. We walked from the millennium hotel and were treated to a first class tour by John Paul. He was delightful and informative. 40% of the $20 fee goes to the farmers living on the mountain. We both jumped 3 meters into the cave and loved every moment.
