Marari Beach is well worth a walk, especially in the morning when the fishing boats return. If you are lucky and there is a cloudless day, you will also see a stunning sunset

Marari Beach is delightful. Not only is the beach clean but it also provided you with chairs to sit (it is a big deal because no other beach in Alleppey has chairs or shacks). You have to pay 100 INR for 2 chairs (for couples)....More

This is one of the best beach to visit in Kerala. This beach is on the way to Allepey from Cochin. This is white sand beach. Water of sea is very clean and good for bath

The beach is not too crowded but unfortunately has quantities of ocean plastic washing up daily. There are also plenty of crabs and other creatures so it seems like an otherwise healthy beach. Not safe for swimming in the monsoon months.

Much of it seems to be ocean plastic as it is highly degraded. The hotels nearby seem to be doing a fairly good job of cleaning up any local waste.
