Our fist time at Panmure Island, Montague area of PEI. We stopped at the lighthouse and went up all the way to the top via four flights of steep stairs - I would recommend you be in good shape to attempt this. It was actually...More

This is one of the prettiest beach in our travels in PEI - long stretch of white sandy beach. Shallow, clear water. Good facilities- clean toilets and shower. Great restaurant in parking lot - Sandbar & Grill - definitely worth a stop.

The beach on this island is large and well frequented by the locals as well as tourists. There is a lifeguard here and a defined swimming area. The water is cold by fresh water standards but warm enough to have many people out enjoying the...More

This is a genre at little park. The lighthouse is worth a visit (it does cost a few bucks to go up) and the beach is quite nice with very nice sand dunes, lifeguards, and a snack hut/restaurant. Worthy of a visit.

Children, wife, and mother-in-law enjoyed it here. Would have been fun for me as well if I didn't have to have my Golden Retriever on a leash. It really is a shame that we can't let our dogs enjoy the beach and water without having...More

Hi There! Not sure what time they open but they close it at 6pm. If I recall correctly, the tour of lighthouse was by donation only, but other similar places ask for anything between $4-7 per person. Did not swim there, so... More
