We had an awesome time here on a Sunday. The caves 240 feet underground. The tour was well worth the price.

This is an absolute masterpiece of a cave, with seemingly endless formations, easy walking paths, and ample lighting. And it's just a short elevator ride down, and a short bus ride back to the welcome center.

The trip down in the elevator is the only part I didn't thoroughly enjoy. The cave is huge and majestic, well lighted, great for photos. The guided tour is only an hour so it is a bit rushed but still very worthwhile.

I agree that it is one of the prettiest caverns we have visited. Our guide, Johnny was great, made the tour very enjoyable. Not only told us about the cave and formations but history of cave and development by USFS. Also talked about other cave...More

I've been to many other Limestone Caverns, but nothing else comes close to this one. The Cathedral Room is one of the wonders of the world. The underground river is great too, as well as looking up the natural entrance. There are two 'normal' tours,...More

This is our favorite place to take visitors. No words can explain the beauty. The 3 year old did well with the tour and enjoyed as much as the older kids and adults

We toured this cavern years ago, but it is still a wonderful place to go! After the tour, we drove into the state park for a picnic and walked the recreation area. A great day!

I would certainly not take small children on the longer tour. It is over an hour long and there are dangerous areas where they need constant supervision. I would recommend the dripstone tour at their ages.
