When we got to the old building we were not sure what to expect. It kind of did not show the trains at all. A very knowledgeable older lady walked us through the room with a lot of memorabilia and information about it. Then there were out in the museum a great deal of train cars, and other items to... Although we've lived in Pine Bluff for about 30 years, we'd never been to the Railroad Museum. We took the grandchildren and their parents and were very impressed. Everyone has a good time. The kids loved climbing in and through the trains on display, and the adults enjoyed exploring them too. Very knowledgable and helpful volunteer staff. We will be... More

This is a very interesting museum if you want to see. Railroad memorabilia and a nice collection of actual train cars. All inside a former railroad building used for building locomotives. The museum needs more visitors.

The Arkansas Railroad Museum is as impressive as much for its' simplicity as for its' 'grandeur' and the setting is as much as the 'displays'. I have been there many times, frequently with visitors who requested to visit again.

So the first time I went to this amazing museum, I was greeted kindly and as if I were part of the people who volunteered there. I had to do some service hour work for my UALR Speech class and I choose the museum, mostly based on my love for locomotives and whatnot. The two Saturdays I volunteered there were... More

Great memorabilia and history, and fabulous exhibits. Plan on at least two hours just to get a sense of the place. But the real hidden... More
