Between the Red Tower and the new Cathedral lies this fine pedestrian way. It has a bit of everything. You can visit museums, have a drink [coffee or something stronger], go for dinner or just people watch. Nobody is in a rush when on St George Boulevard.

The walking zone of Korca. It's the place where you can find the most important buildings of the city such as The Education Museum, City Library, Culture Palace. Very vivid, with plenty of people especially in the summer. Many bars and restaurants where you can enjoy a break.

This is a bustling and lively area in downtown Korce with shops, restaurants and museums to explore. I only had the chance for a quick walkabout with my guide as I came here on a day trip from Ohrid but I would like to spend more time if I got the chance.

Great social area where the locals and tourists come to walk, drink and eat. Family friendly location away from traffic. Lovely historical features, plus modern buildings. The Cathedral makes a lovely backdrop when viewed from the Red Tower at night time.

This pedestrian-only Boulevard is as lovely as any in Eastern Europe. Densely lined with trees and cafes, this a place for a leisurely stroll and a stop for coffee, pizza or superb sweet treats that would cost many Euro in Paris or Vienna, but a mere €1 here.
I was told Albanians have a high consumption of coffee because so many are unemployed ;-( However the impression is of a sociable culture where drinking coffee with friends is valued.
