Indira Gandhi Manav Sangralaya - a massive place to feel back the culture and societies of many states in India and the tribal culture. They charge Rs.30 per person and one needs vehicle to go around. The place is a great promoter and preservation for culture and civilization. Primarily, the place has lots of collectibles and restructs from states like... More

Nicely designed. I like the crafty look they have given. Different huts and old culture is very nicely presented. Very good place to spend time with friends and family.

I would have definitely put more stars had the place been more organized. First of all, the map of the place and all there is to see was not so clear to me from the start and since we had to walk a lot around, it is not as if we would have felt like going back had we missed... More

IGRMS is a completely different concept which has brought down the life and living of our natives and the tribals. There amazing ways of living out of this techie world shows how beautifully we had understood the nature and lived with it before and how they are still sustaining it in smaller and interior places. Untouched and pure, the place... More

When i visited this place, had a certain pre-notion how a museum should look like. This is totally opposite which provides you glance in how the people across India live. Various types of huts, what kind of tools they use etc. Good place, but you need to be prepared to walk a lot, which involves uneven hilly territory as well.

Some good exhibits - with some vibrant colours. However, this was not easy to find (Uber driver had to ask 3 or 4 times) and the whole place is shabby, with poor signage.

The infrastructure is what any museum authority will give his right hand for. However, it is unloved and uncared for. An astonishing collection of tribal assets lying under leaking roofs, unlit or ill-lit galleries and zero audio visual guides. Typical sarkari set up. Further, it covers only India, even though it says it is for mankind. The collection and presentation... More
