I could have spent all day in this place. I love history and this place has some serious history. To be able to go back to the time when we were living in caves and painting them was incredible. To have them still be vibrant...More

Even if we knew we were looking at copies of the real thing, my friends and I were impressed with the museum. It was informative with signs in English. And we admired the reproductions.

A chance to discover the Sixtine Chapel of the Prehistory in a quite accurate replica calles the “Neocave”. Interesting exposition about life in Prehistoric times. If you happen to be near on Friday, better be at the gates at 9:30 am because visitors who enter...More

I learnt a lot from the tour about history and cave art. Not so busy when we were there in November, but still have to be in time for your allocated tour and video. About 1 hour to get through without rushing too much. Good...More

This is a great place to visit. Sure the paintings in the Neo cave are reproductions but you don’t have to crawl on your belly to seem - and be responsible for their degradation by doing so. This is a very well put together museum...More

The New Cave section of the museum is a must if you happen to be in this area of Cantabria. A life like replica of the original cabe that is now closed to visitors is a master piece.
