The Carabela Pinta is a fun and historic place to visit. There’s a long boardwalk to it from the pavement and then lots of steps/ladders. Explanations are in Spanish and English and re-enactments of what conditions were like back then plus examples of what was...More

The small replica of the Pinta was eye-opening. To realize just how small the ship was as we clambered from end to end and to think about the big waves we had just seen off the point made us wonder at the courage of the...More

The replica of Columbus' Pinta in the harbor is a very useful piece of history. It is not in the class of maritime museums such as the Vasa in Stockholm, but it is similar to the USS Constitution in Boston. Also, it only costs 2...More

Replica of LaPinta. Some interesting sign boards and mockups with info about the journey. Fairly priced at 2 Euro. Climbing steep ladders involved.

I was really happy and even thrilled to visit the Pinta, it's great to see how small it actually is and thinking that 20 people crossed the unknown with it. There are also some explanations of how they used to live in the boat and...More

Interesting boat but not much else to see. Not suitable for very young children or the less agile as there are ladders to see the higher deck.

Visited both the Casa de la Navigacion and the Pinta on a combined ticket. The museum lacked any creativity or thought into the display and the majority of objects are either replicas or fragments in glass cases. The pinta itself is interesting as it gives...More

It was like going back in history 500+ yrs where you got close & personal to one of the type of ships that Columbus used to sail into the unknown. You have to walk a fairly long plank to get to the boat. Great representation...More

Really gives some idea of what this was as an achievement. A tiny ship with plenty examples of the living conditions that would not be tolerable today.

The Pinta is much smaller than you would imagine & must have been a nightmare to sail in. This replica costs a couple of euros to visit & requires an ability to climb ladders. There were some interesting panels of information on board. Worth a...More
