At the end of a long days walk on the Camino, what better than a walk around an old fort. Well worth it for the lovely views and shady nooks and crannies.

A great way to spend an hour or so walking along the walls of the Parador/Fortress. Cost is 1 euro. There is also a walk around the outside of the fortress walls (free).

A lovely walk! Gorgeous views, and FREE! Wish I could have stayed at the Parador there. It is simply gorgeous.

Wonderful scenic walk. Easy, well maintained, flat route around the base of the castle. Lots of great views, places to linger, sit and enjoy the views and history.

Relaxing walk on Monday morning with some clouds and the wind from the ocean bringing salty air inland. Old walls from one side and kilometers of open sea in the other. The atmosphere is of complete relax. Recommended.

This entire area outside of Vigo is absolutely spectacular. The Atlantic Ocean meets the coast of Spain with beautiful rock formations, an old castle (now a beautiful hotel) and a great walking path. Very impressive.

The walk along the top of the wall is excellent, now on the grounds of the Parador Hotel. They charge €1 in the summer. We didn't see anyone collecting a fee in the fall. The walk along the bottom is just as good but with...More

This is a must see in Baiona! Walk around the tops of the wall and around the base. Such great views and you can get a coffee at the Parador too. Take your camera!

We were staying at the Parador and did a couple of walks around the Fort. You can do the high walk along the wall, or the low walk closer to the sea. Both are worthwhile with interesting points of interest and awesome views.

Excellent place for a walk with stunning view over the cies islands and the marina. However in some areas it was quite dirty and the smell was terrible. Perfect spot for photos
