I feel that this falls into the category of "must see" but it's a bit, well average. The giant statue outside is a great photo opportunity, I'll say that. But climbing the stairs into the caves, you have a quick wonder around and that's kind...More

This is a hindu shrine in Malaysia, and it makes you feel that god actually resides here in the middle of these limestone formations. Extremely divine, manifested by the scale of statue of god Murugan and by devotions of people you see around this place...More

Although many might think the Batu Caves is a place of religious spirituality especially for Hindus, the awesomeness of structure and location makes it a tourist spot for all to see and admire. This attraction is very close to KL; only 26 minutes monorail ride...More

Went by train from KL Sentral, very easy and cheap. Be prepared to climb many steps and with the humidity it can become rather uncomfortable. It is a lovely place to pass a few hours. Very interesting and some good views into KL from the...More

Pretty nice, not so far from the center of KL, spent around 2 hours. When you climb the stairs, there is nothing much on the top, but there is an other cave on the left if you walk a bit far, this is more interesting!

Very interesting experience, especially if you are a hindu. The stairs are murder, but keep climbing slowly and you'll make. The Ramayan display is worth paying extra for and it really well lit and laid out. Found the experience spiritual.

Prior to coming here we thought that the stop was just a filler on our way to see the Petronas Towers and that it was just another day on a Malaysia tour and another temple, but it turned out to be not just any temple....More

Morning or afternoon is ideal for visiting batu caves temple along with Ramayan caves? I'm going with wife and 3 year kid. I couldn't make it there before 9.30am. So I think I will reach there around 10 or 10.30 at best. Is that good enough? Thanks.
