While I understand that Los Mochis has a rather limited history and few stories to tell, the museum really pulls it off to offer a good 30-45 minute tour of the town's legacy. The staff was extremely friendly and allows you to roam freely in the museum. Pictures? Sure, not a problem. The cost? 1 Dollar... yes, really.

It's a small museum, near the botanical garden. There are some petroglyphs on view, and a big outdoor map. The building dates back to the time of the "American Colony". The book store is definitely worth a browse.
