We stayed in awesome rustic cabin and cooked. At first , knowing that you'll be disconnected for a few days worried us but actually it was even better to spend more time together cooking, playing cards and movies. It is good place to observe deer and birds in the winter time. Love the hiking trails especially the devil's den one.... More

We've camped here twice so far, and intend to return. In June 2014 we enjoyed wading in the creek, birdwatching, and hiking to see the caves & other interesting landscapes. In March 2016, we backpacked part of the Butterfield Hiking Trail. That early in the season, the weather was chilly & wet at times, so I would recommend a little... More

We made a repeat visit to Devil's Den State Park for a January geocaching/hiking excursion. We were there for a 3 day weekend and stayed in a studio cabin. The park is out-of-the-way and the facilities were closed (cafe, pool, shop) - so we had to bring all supplies and groceries with us. The cabins are rustic - originally built... More

My husband and I hiked the Yellow Rock trail on a mild winter afternoon. It was a very nice hike, with bluffs, interested rock formations, including one cave like structure, stretches through the woods on the mountaintops, and several lookout points and a final lookout with a stone structure. It was a good moderate hike and took a couple of... More

We fell in love with the cabin as soon as we walked in the front door. I've always wanted to stay in an authentic CCC cabin and we weren't disappointed. The staff was great and went the extra mile. We hiked the Devils Den trail and went above the Den to the largest crevasses which were a little nerve racking... More

Thus was a hidden gem for me. I was there for a month on business, and asked the locals what to go see/check out. I was told for hiking, and exploring this was a great local spot. They were right. Got to see a great view from the wonderful CCC construction, people catching trout from a half frozen waterfall. Just... More

We went to Devil's Den on a Friday in November. There were very few people around. We stopped into the visitor center and bought water for $1 a bottle and picked up a trail map. The Devil's Den Trail was interesting but the caves were closed off and the water was dried up so it was not as nice as... More

We were heading home from our weekend in Bentonville and decided to stop in Devil's Den. We will have to come back and try the trails. They look gorgeous!
