Cool landmark in Baker, CA!! I enjoy glancing at the World's tallest thermometer while driving on Interstate 15. It is a nice sight to see. Lately, the thermometer has been working again. The temperature is also accurate as well. That's all folks.

What's not to like about seeing the World's Tallest Thermometer? The only drawback for me was that it displays only 10 degree increments. I was sure that we were there when the real temperature was 108 but it just showed 100.

Just off the interstate you can see this GIANT Thermometer . When we were there it was 100 degrees. Plenty of parking and restrooms in the shop. The young lady working there was very friendly , take a picture of this roadside attraction either day...More

interesting history of the thermometer, but not a top tier attraction. Visible from the highway, so you may not even have to stop.

A nice place to stop. Also a great photo op. It was a bit to hot that day to stop for long. A must do when driving thru the desert
