This cemetery is hard to find. Has limited days and times to access. Is worth it for us as we like to visit these kinds of places as you just never know who you might find. And what history there is to learn.

To get to this hidden jem you must travel down a residential street, then head through a chain link fence down a dirt and cement road. This road is not pretty, it has a pipe line to one side, takes you under the freeway and...More

Access to the cemetery is along a small lane that winds under and next to an enormous petroleum pipeline. Once you reach the cemetery, it is quiet and secluded but quite tiny. A bit of local history that is worth a one-time visit.

The cemetery is more than a little out of the way but it's worth finding. The setting is tranquil and peaceful. I'm sure many have no idea this military cemetery is located where it is. It's more than a little sobering looking at the headstones...More

We visited this historically significant, but difficult-to-find cemetery on Memorial Day. It was some hours after the ceremonies and we found just two other people on the premises. Viewing and photographing the flag-marked graves was a somber but educational experience. While paying my respects I...More

This Cemetery is very hard to find, but should not be forgotten. It is well maintained, and the oldest military cemetery in the area, opened in 1849. It is only open some week-ends, so call before you go. When you turn off Military E onto...More

I went to Memorial Day celebration and the Cemetery was very interesting. Graves from the 1880s. The oldest military cemetery on the west coast. Also has a section for military dogs. Beautifully kept up. I would contact them before going to make sure it was...More
