I'm not much into shopping, but it's a good place to do so. It was also helpful to stop into the Apple store. Walk around, shop, eat, snack, people watch, enjoy!

A great place to spend an afternoon, small unusual shops and many interesting cafes and restaurants and few chain stores. Love the creativity and originality . Buskers add to the atmosphere

This is an area of upscale shops, such as Madewell, Crate & Barrel and Anthropologie. Not really my cup of tea, but some in our group enjoyed it. If you enjoy shopping, come here. If not, skip it.

This is a great place for an afternoon stroll, some shopping, and lunch. There is a bit of something for everyone and some unique offerings. Lots of local color.

From a great Crate and Barrel Outlet, with awesome prices to a fully stocked Sur La Table...a wonderful small paper shop, lots of places to find food and coffee and, if you arrive early...a parking spot in a lot good for 3 free hours!

WAY overpriced but beautiful shops that run the gamut from toys to designer furniture. Some good restaurants tucked in too.

Having visited Berkeley a half dozen times over many years, I am acquainted with the hippie aspect of the city. Well, here is the yuppie part of the city. Vegetarian/vegan eateries? Nope. Great bookstores? Nope. Warby Parker and Apple? Yup.
