It's hard when you're a larger theater and you want to take bold chances -- you still have to fill the seats. But I think the Rep has figured out how to program to do both, and they have two auditoriums to do it in:...More

Berkeley Rep is not the cheapest theater in town, but it has the highest percentage of top quality, thought provoking, entertaining plays. While we have seen a few "misses" there, most are excellent and some go on to Broadway. The current play, Monsoon Wedding is...More

You will not be disappointed by Berkeley Repertory Theatre. I've been a member for 35 years and have only seen a few productions that weren't excellent. They have 2 theatres, small and large, also you can enjoy a drink and plates in their new lounge....More

We saw Irving Berlin a one person show and it was great. There is not a bad seat in the house. Peet's coffee is part of it and even alcohol is available. Parking is across the street which makes it real convenient. .

Usually go to see a play at least once a year. Love the online ticket process, and the intimate.Peet's theatre. Staff extremely helpful. Many restaurants and bars close by, to visit before or after. You can easily get there by bus or BART.

A tour de force performance by Hershey Felder who tells the story of Irving Berlin, playing the piano and singing his many hit songs. Felder's impersonation of Berlin is masterful and nostalgic. Both tragedy and success defined Irving Berlin's life and Felder is a captivating...More

We've seen great shows all over the country and keep coming back to Berkeley Rep to see great actors like Steven Epp doing Figaro or the ensemble from Kneehigh Theater in Cornwall performing a raucous version of Wild Bride. You'll find everything from classics to...More

Both of the venues at Berkeley Rep are excellent wth no bad seats. Good views and sound. The Rep has long staged excellent and courageous productions. We return again and again.
