This cool and refreshing little town is a nice escape from the "big city." It seems a bit pricey these days, but maybe everything is?

This vilalge is very small but beautiful as well. All the buildings and shops look thematic. It is a good place to walk around. It is difficult to arrange a spot for street parking, but there are a decent number of spaces at public lots.

Nice walk and nice shops. Sad to see so many shops have closed since last year. After visiting the shops took a stroll to Pine Knott Marina.

Stroll up and down the Village streets, get a bite to eat, enjoy live entertainment, or just sit and people watch! Plenty of parking in the near by parking lots.

The Pine Knot Village area is what I would call a typical touristy type of shopping area. There were a lot of Big Bear logoed items for sale.

Things have changed since vacationing in Big Bear over 30 yrs. ago. There are still the souvenir shops you would expect to find but the additional restaurants with outside seating and the newer movie theatre showing 3 different films has livened up the three blocks...More
