Year round family recreation area. The Alpine Slide attraction is California's only authentic bobsled ride. Take a scenic chairlift ride to the top, then hop on a specially designed sled and control your own speed down a 1/4 mile long track. In the summer enjoy our refreshing double Water Slide and in the winter tube on our Snow Play hill with Magic Carpet uphill lift. We also offer Go-Karts and an 18 hole miniature golf course. Our newly renovated building has plenty of indoor seating and an expanded snack bar. An outdoor patio, Water Slide deck and many grass areas allow for plenty of relaxing. Parents pay only if you play!

BEWARE- THE SLIDES ARE NOT SAFE! My family (23 people total) visited the Alpine Slide, the price is fair, 5 for $25.00. The lift up is beautiful, and worth the money. BUT, things aren't quite as they seem. When you purchase your ticket you will have to sign off on a waiver, that isn't presented. There are no helmets, which... More

I had heard about this place and my 12 year old daughter was thrilled when I showed her the pictures on the website. We bought two five packs ($25 each) which I felt was a little steep. But we had a great time. The more you do it, the faster you want to go. I'm tall(6' 4") so it was... More

i sent my husband down first to make sure he finished with a smile on his face and enjoyed it. The 2nd, 3rd time I also went down. I honestly enjoyed it much much more than I thought i would. Not scary at all on the way down. I am looking forward to going on another day trip to Big... More

This was good fun and we were surprised at how fast they go. The operation is pretty efficient and well run. The only thing I quibbled with was the fact that they had a deal for 5 tickets and there were two of us. I wanted to get an extra ticket (so we could each go 3 times) and they... More

Great place to bring the kids...and the adults who think they are still kids. Summertime offers a waterslide and go-cart racing. Wintertime offers toboggan runs. Prices are fair and they also have food and drinks available.

I've gone on this for MANY years. It's a favorite activity while at Big Bear. The location is very convenient.

Oddly enough, there were hardly any wait times during Memorial day weekend. The line for the chairlift for the sled ride was only 5-10 people at any given time, so we went several times to make the day pass worthwhile. the all day pass for the sled is $30 per person while kids 3 and under were free. The go... More
