Lots of well-maintained trails on the head. The coastline is spectacular and the water is breathtaking when the sun is shining on it. Lots of wildlife to look at (birds and sea lions especially.)

On a calm day with the sun shining this is an amazing place to stop. The views are breath taking. The bird watching is great and we’ve seen whales from the top.

Lovely place to walk after a oyster lunch. Interesting geology and great views. .... take a wind-prove jacket.

I live a short distance from Bodega Bay and visit often. My family chose this part of the ocean to spred my sister's ashes. Standing high on a bluff, we watched a local gentleman in a small boat respectfully scatter the ashes into the sea...More

Beautiful view . Bring sturdy shoes , you can hike all around and the dirt/ gravel can be slick, member of our group slipped and fell. Look close and you may see whales we did not see any but other visitors had. Watch kids close...More

One of the best hikes ever with 360-degree views. It's not difficult, but be ready for the wind. Try to choose a sunny day.

Worth the ride and hike. Great view of the coast. Temperatures drop near the coast. Were appropriate clothing.

Great view just from the parking lot - if you're in the area, make sure to drive out and take in the ocean views. Come near sunset if possible.

Walking on the trails of bodega head you will have fantastic views of the cliffs, catch some seals basking in the sun on a rock, and be immersed in the dense fog. Bring warm clothes since it can be chilly at times.

I agree with the other two answers. there are beautiful views that can be enjoyed in the car, but walking is rather treacherous.
