Admittedly I have enjoyed myself at this location. However I have also been to both the free nights where the newer comedians were not interesting at all, and at least twice paid $50+ per person to hear so called "prime" comedians who were either excessively intoxicated and/or impaired from some other drug. Improv's response after the second experience was that... More

There is a service upcharge when you buy the tickets in advance online. There is also a 2 drink minimum (soft drinks $6 and Bud light $7), with fried foods available if you get there early. Seating is tight, but there are plenty of servers and the place is professionally run. parking can be difficult on the weekends.

Two drink minimum ensures you'll have fun. Great comics and food isn't bad either. Top comics from around the world

Hey, you don't go to a comedy club for fine dining, but it would be really nice to have seats that face the stage. In some cases they do but due to the club layout even if they do you may spend the whole show staring at the back of someone's head. Last show I saw at the Brea Improv... More

It's too bad they require a 2 drink minimum but serve drinks using very cheap alcohol. Most mixed drinks are awful! Highly overpriced. Maybe stick with bottled drinks. Eating before the show is imperative! Many restaurants within walking distance. Venue and comedians are usually very enjoyable.

When you go into an Improv comedy club, you know what to expect and the Brea location is no different. Great service, pretty good food, and world-class comedy.

Saw Brent Morin, he was great. Large venue was nice. I had the tri tip sandwich, it was very dry and my husband had the fried calamari, it was very rubbery. We didn't go for the food, we went for the comedy and on that note it didn't dissappoint! Ladies restroom could use some improvements, mainly doors that lock.

The food is terrible. It all tastes like frozen food that has been thrown together or deep fried. It is not good at all. There is a minimum to spend while at the show so my suggestion would be to stick with the drinks.

But you don't go to a comedy club for the food, do you??? Some of the weeknight comedians are pretty doggone good. It's a good weeknight out, and you can get better seating on a weeknight. Weekend comedy? 1. Go for dinner. You'll get better seating and how hard can it be to mess up a hamburger? 2. The 2... More
