One of my favorite locations to visit in the summer. The hot springs come out of the side of the mountain and drip onto you like a shower. You sit in the cold creek below that is passing by on the side of the mountain and the warm hot water drips into a little side pool where you can chill... More

The hot springs are a bit off the road but absolutely worth going there. Close to the parking lot you can spent some time in a natural "jacuzzi" ( no bubbles but warm water) and have a nice view. The way to the hot springs is a bit steep and can be slippery, so be cautious. Down at the river... More

This a magnificent place to share with the friends and/or family on day time. And at night with your couple. Be prepare for a short trail down hill, very slippery with loose rocks along the pad.

I have tried on a few occasions to try and find this attraction. This time I came the closest, I think, however, I was advised by an old timer at the Travertine Hot Springs that I needed to be prepared to navigate a very steep and slippery - but short - descent down the hill from the parking area. Being... More

These hot springs definitely require some agility to reach, but once you are there, it's a beautiful setting. The springs are right next to a river, and so the sounds and sights are gorgeous.

Made out first trip out to the bridgeport area to go camping and check out the hot springs... Such a nice place... The elevation is higher than I was used to so it took some time to get used of it. We found a place to camp for free... hot springs were within 12 a mile. Our camp site had... More

The hot springs are a little off the beaten path and the hike is steep, but once your on the river sitting in the pools looking at the scenery its all worth it.

Spent many a day off here in the 90's when not building trails in the bridgeport back country-love the pools on the river-careful in the spring as the place gets washed out-you can camp across the river and walk over-or park up on the road and walk down-careful with the little kids--bathing suits optional

From Bridgeport, you drive 7 miles to Doc & Als and then 2.5 miles down dusty dirt road. Then hike down steep trail to reach hot springs. They are quite small and average. Can get very crowded. Not sure worth the effort.
