this is a wonderful place to go to. You must leave it clean and be respectful if you go here. This is clothing optional and should remain so. Be kind to others and respectful to nature. I love camping here.

Buckeye Hot Springs is not easy to find, but worth asking for directions. To access the hot springs, you have to hike down a cliff with some loose rock and brush. There are a couple of mud bottomed shallow pits surrounded by rocks on the...More

I've visited Buckeye many times over the years and most recently on July 4 around midday. There's a large pool beside the river with part of it under a cave. There's also two hot pools on the hillside above the river. Because there were so...More

Once upon a time, one could venture a few miles down the dirt/gravel road in the Humboldt Toiyabe Nat'l Forest to Buckeye creek where Buckeye Hot springs is and find yourself alone or almost alone in a 'clothing optional' setting. The source literally springs from...More

One of my favorite locations to visit in the summer. The hot springs come out of the side of the mountain and drip onto you like a shower. You sit in the cold creek below that is passing by on the side of the mountain...More

The hot springs are a bit off the road but absolutely worth going there. Close to the parking lot you can spent some time in a natural "jacuzzi" ( no bubbles but warm water) and have a nice view. The way to the hot springs...More

This a magnificent place to share with the friends and/or family on day time. And at night with your couple. Be prepare for a short trail down hill, very slippery with loose rocks along the pad.

I have tried on a few occasions to try and find this attraction. This time I came the closest, I think, however, I was advised by an old timer at the Travertine Hot Springs that I needed to be prepared to navigate a very steep...More

These hot springs definitely require some agility to reach, but once you are there, it's a beautiful setting. The springs are right next to a river, and so the sounds and sights are gorgeous.
