The Calistoga Spa Hot Springs, a geothermal hot springs resort, recently completed an extensive renovation project that has dramatically transformed a property that has been attracting repeat guests for generations. Located in downtown Calistoga, the 56-room hotel and spa was completely redesigned with a contemporary spa inspired look and feel. The eighteen month long renovation has touched all aspects of the property including a redesign of the guestrooms with spa-inspired bedding, honed Italian porcelain tile showers, kitchenettes with microwave ovens and modern conveniences such as full High Definition LED televisions. The focal points of the renovation are the four-geothermal heated mineral pools. The pool deck was fitted with travertine tiles, new designer-inspired pool furniture and the inclusion of grape covered arbors.

Well appointed and good sizes rooms. The pools are great and even in February in the rain are very hot. Location is a one minute walk from restaurants and shops. We made a good choice to come here.

I went for a Mud bath and it was really great. I felt super relaxed after and really enjoyed the treatment. The place was nice and clean and the pools are big. I love the large mineral hot tub.

My mom and I decided to dive into the mid baths during our first Calistoga/Napa Valley visit and we are so pleased we did it! Low-key and unpretentious, the Calistoga Spa seems to be a go-to place for locals (the prices are good) and some...More

We went for a girls getaway weekend and we were pleasantly surprised. I had seen mixed reviews but we got a package deal and decided to try it. We booked massages and mud baths and arrived early to use their pools and facilities. The facility...More

This spa is set in a cute town about 30 minutes from Napa. The setting is a bit odd because the hot pools, each at a different temperature, and the lounge areas around the pools are lovely and tastefully designed, but the spa itself is...More

Walking in to the spa was not a relaxing experience. You are registered and given a locker and then told to be back here for your service. No one showed you where anything is or what to wear. The locker room is old and dirty...More

My wife and I both had massages and mud bath treatment. Staff was very friendly and helpful, but the facility is very dated. It doesn't appear the interior of the spa has been updated since the 1980's. It is a little noisy for a spa....More

Calistoga Spa does not have bicycles but a short 5 minute walk will get you to a bike rental store in town.
