Like its more famous Yellowstone counterpart, this Napa Valley geyser erupts at regular intervals - every forty minutes, in the case of the Calistoga gusher.

Very quite hotel. There are also BBQ and outside dining areas for your own picnics. Many restaurants and shops to visit one block away or less. Calistoga is a quite & charming little town and a bucket list must do.

Of this site they would appreciate it more. They are going , expecting Niagara Falls-but if you actually READ-you will understand the understated nature of this geological gem. PLEASE ignore the reviews and understand how unique and beautiful Old faithful is. I had fun. It...More

Our family of 5 visited this yesterday. It cost us $60 entrance free & took us 1.5 hours to get there. We expected much more for that price & we were ready to go after 10-15 mins! The toilets were disgusting & the place had...More

A waste of time and money. The geyser erupts every few minutes. The other attractions, including a animal farm, are really an anti-social horse and several goats.

It feels wrong that someone owns this and that you have to pay to see what is a natural wonder. That said it's a really cool spot and they have made an effort to improve it since I last visited (over 15 years ago) to...More

$15 each to go in to see the geyser which in itself was impressive but the surroundings are dreadful. This natural phenomenon deserves better. The surroundings are dreadful. Portaloos for toilets that were filthy. Farm animals apparently but we only saw two goats. The geyser...More

Old Faithful Geyser of California in Calistoga (a small city in Upper Napa Valley, 75 miles north of San Francisco) received its name due to its regular eruptions. It is one of three geysers in the world with the name “Old Faithful,” the other two...More

This is another 'tourist trap' that over-promises and under-delivers. At $15 a piece, we didn't get much value. Overall, the geyser was a bit underwhelming. I wish I had looked at TA reviews before deciding to go.

We stopped to visit the geyser as we spent the day biking around Calistoga. I will say that the park was a tad pricey. Having said that, they do provided nice shaded seating to view the Geyser (which was very active on the day we...More

Calistoga being a place I call home I found Old Faithful a let down. I wish the price was reasonable so we could have gone. Unless you are planning on spending the day it is not a $15 per adult $9 per child facility. Not...More

When traveling with children/teens, you need to consider their tastes in entertainment. Napa Valley is geared toward adults. The Wine Train is fun for adults; but, children may not appreciate the Calif. food/wine served... More
