Like its more famous Yellowstone counterpart, this Napa Valley geyser erupts at regular intervals - every forty minutes, in the case of the Calistoga gusher.

If you've never experienced the natural wonder of a geyser before, then it's definitely worth a visit. "Old Faithful" gives a spectaular eruption of up to 80ft every half-hour or so (depending on time of year) - but there is little else to see for...More

It may be a historical landmark but not worth paying $15 to see it. Place is run down no bathrooms just a portajohn. Looks like a disserted camp.

A fee is required to enter the grounds. The geyser sets off at rather short intervals so there should be nore more that a 20-minute wait to see it. They also have pens with interesting animals, comfortable viewing areas at the geyser, some shaded. Some...More

Disappointing for $15. But if u want to see a geyser that is 10 ft tall , maybe worth $15. Or maybe a pen of goats are worth $15.

My kids are age 7 & 5 and they loved this place. The geyser was fun to see and i think they learned a few things (so did I). Kids enjoyed the lamas, goats and other animals that were on site. We played a few...More

Just spent $52 for 2 adults, one child, one student to see the geyser. Got there as it was erupting, watched for 5 minutes, nothing else to see worth while. Public restroom is a porta-potty, the roof on the visitor center needs to be fixed,...More

Fascinating that it is one of three in the world. Site has a goat farm which you can pet through a fence and some outdoor games to keep you busy while waiting for the geyser to blow. It was worth the time.

What a boring park this is. The geyser is cool as a natural phenomenon. But paying to see the cheap and rundown nonsense next to it is waste.

Armstrong Woods is not too far away from Napa and gives an awesome feeling of being among the giant trees - if the kids are good "spotters", they might see the Banana Slug. It's very large and yellowish. Castello di Amoroso... More
