The castle and the grounds are beautiful, the tour is nice and informative (although our guide could have been a bit more natural and exhibit fewer mannerisms) even if you bump into other groups occasionally. The place is rather touristy, come in the morning for smallest crowds. Good choice of wines for tasting included with the tour – a group... More

Wonderful tour and tasting. It was recommended by a friend and it didn't diassappoint. It was quaint, kitschy, and a lot of fun. The tasting was fun and not intimidating... for folks who like wine bit aren't snobs about it... we had a ball!

Beautiful and tranquil. The design and thought that went into designing this marvelous structure brings you into a time of fairytales and wonder. Coupled with modern components you are still left with excellent wine and a loving ambience.

We enjoyed visititing and touring the castle and sampling the variety of wine. The guided tour was outstanding...and the wines that we purchased have arrived. We highly recommend this tour!

Had a great time at the castle! If you are a club member you get a special wine and cheese tasting which is totally worth it! So unique and fun with good wine!

This place was awesome. From the moment we drove up the driveway the views and details that went into this castle amazed us. The inside is beautiful and there is so many rooms and stuff to look at. Our tour guide was very friendly, funny, and helpful. We ended up getting a case of wine shipped home for the holidays!

Nothing is "Average" about this Castle, but it wasn't "Very Good" and it wasn't "Poor". This is a massive castle built at a vineyard for wine tasting and special events. It is impressive and expansive. We spent the evening at the castle for a Wedding Banquet a couple days after Thanksgiving. It was an interesting experience with some good and... More

We did the wine and cheese pairing this time, with the guided tour and it was great as expected. I should preface to say we're wine club members so we did get a little extra special treatment :) The regular tour is fine to see the castle, which has incredible details and thought put into it. The tour with tasting... More

We've been coming to Napa/SF as a family for 7 years in a row and we always visit Castillo on Thanksgiving Day. What a treat to see familiar faces and taste some very good wines. We are now at the level where we go to the Private Tasting Room but the experience is always terrific. Even though this is considered... More
