Ziplining with RFA was awesome! They monitor all the safety equipment so you always feel safe. The views were thrilling, super-high and scary. The guides were really friendly and knowledgeable. The gondola ride was really, really cool. Jorge Vargas was our biologist guide in our gondola and he knew all the trees, birds, snakes, flowers and plants. He routinely whipped... More

On April 12, 2017, I went on The Canopy tour.  I was staying at an Air BnB in San Pedro and was told they could not do a pick-up at San Pedro Mall as was done on a previous tour, so I chose a hotel from their list of pick-up sites.  I am a visitor to Costa Rica and was... More

We booked this excursion from the Holland American cruise line on a recent cruise. It was stupendous! Way beyond expectations. I actually booked it by mistake as I have aerophobia (afraid of cliffs, balconies, high places) and when I found out it involved zip lines 200 feet in the air, I freeked. My fellow cruisers talked me into keeping it... More

We had a fantastic ride on the tram ride. It lasted about an hour and our guide- Maria- was full of interesting info about the rainforest. I highly recommend you take advantage of this opportunity. My group also ate lunch there. Buffett was great. We also took the short walk into butterfly area and around the loop which included a... More

This is a private park, but nature is loved and respected throughout. The tram and guide were top-notch. It's about 45-60" round trip. On the way out, we went through the lower, two layers of the rain forest. On the way back, we were on the top layer. Beautiful and fascinated. One caution. If you are coming from Limon from a... We visited here in March 2017 with an organised tour from the hotel in San Jose. It took about an hour from the city in a minibus. Our tour was the aerial tram and walk which included a delicious lunch. The centre is well organised and very professionally run. Our guide Jaime was passionate about his job and we learnt... More

None of the four of us had ever ziplined before and one member of the party was particularly nervous about it. But the staff put everyone at ease and the whole set-up felt very safe and professional. They eased us in with some shorter lines before three longer ones and a finale of the 700m Adrenaline, which starts above the... More

First time zip lining, and it was amazing. Bordering the Braulio Carrillo National Park, this private reserve and eco tourism spot has some of the best lookout posts and scenery I have ever seen in Costa Rica. My tour included 12 zip lines, some short ones over rivers and hills, some longer than 1000 ft. The last one is more... More
