This is a late feedback from our experience last February 2015. However, me & my wife have not forgotten this memorable escapade. Being first time visitors in Costa Rica, we have been facinated by nature and beauty of the rainforest. Going to the Braulio Carrillo National Park Rainforest Adventure canopy tour, opened our eyes on the diversity of life and... More

We book a full day trip with transportation from San Jose and weren't disappointed. The tram is a relaxing ride and even if you don't see a ton of wildlife it is still very interesting. The guides were very knowledgeable and helpful. The ziplines and lunch were also above our expedtations. We paid about $150 for the day but that... More

What I liked: 1 The aerial tram ride covered more than 2 KM of rain forest 2 The naturalists provided excellent information about the vegetation and plant life. 3 The fact the trams are checked each morning before any tours – since there was a viper hanging on the roof of one tram earlier that morning 4 Butterfly conservation area... The butterfly garden was really neat. Our guide "Jonathan" was very friendly and entertaining. He was very knowledgeable about the rainforest. He was only our guide through the butterfly garden and walking part. Wish he was on the tram as well. The aerial tram was ok. Very slow and boring. Didn't see any wildlife. Our guide for that part was... More

Thank you Sally for your review. We are glad you enjoyed and we really apologize if the guide wasn´t so knowledgeable as the first one. Sometimes they are in silence in order to let you hear the forest sounds. But we really hope you´ll come back soon! Have a nice day! More

I took the aerial tram and visited the butterfly garden as part of the itinerary for my Caravan Tour. I've not spent much time in rainforests, so this was a new experience for me. The tour guide, Miguel, took a group of 6 people on the aerial tram on a pleasantly paced journey to the top and back. The gondolas... More

I guess like most activities in Costa Rica are designed for tours and large groups. Showing up with a friend off a local bus was not a typical approach. Anyway, we had to wait around several hours for them to have a zip line group... the zip line itself was rather fun and adequately safe... but just before the last... More

Thanks for your review. We take very seriously our visitors feedback, that´s why we want to apologize if you and your friend didn´t have the time you´ve expected. For your information, you´re right about the approach cause we organized the tours in groups and hours according their arrival. That´s why we recommend booking the tour before. The additional pay on... More

Visited as one of the stops on a 9 day Caravan Tour. Friendly, informative guide (Adrian, I believe?). Great at spotting wildlife and identifying birds by their calls. Saw a Common Potoo and sloths and toucans, and more. My only suggestion would be to give the guide a way to signal for a short pause when something special is spotted.... More

This is the best and safest way to see the rainforest in Costa Rica. Our tram guide was very good and provided a ton of good information. Saw a sloth at the beginning and saw lots of other cool critters during our tour. The highlight was probably the peace and quiet while gliding through the jungle.

We visited through Caravan Tours and Braulio Carrillo National Park was one of our top rated highlights. We were so lucky to receive Graibin Hernandez as our guide. He was informative, well spoken and his love of his country was reflected in his excitement that we were visiting his beloved country. He loved his job and it showed as he... More

It's a rainforest! Duh! Don't forget your raingear. They sell very nice ponchos for $11 USD upon arrival, and I was an idiot for not bringing my own. We visited this attraction as a shore excursion from a Princess Cruise that stopped in the port of Limon, Costa Rica. It was about a 2 hour bus ride to get there... More
