We had a hard time figuring out parking because we went to the National Capernum Park next door first and there isn't much there but pretty gardens but no archaeological ruins. We then moved our car to the church and there got to see Peter's...More

Very well preserved, these walls are 1600 years old! Extraordinary place, dont miss it while touring Israel. It was part of the program of the group tour we took in May and loved every inch of it !

Despite of the large number of groups / coaches (we were part of one...) it is worth to visit this place. The ruins of buildings from the times Jesus lived there are impressive. Nice view to the Sea of Galilee.

As a place of Christ ministry, it was worth experiencing to walk where Jesus performed most of His miracles. This is an outdoor activity that you will need caps, hats and umbrellas.
