From the beautiful hilltop it is easy to imagine Jesus preaching to the people. Here you can learn the Beatitudes and learn the Hebrew history of the Beatitudes.

The landscaping and grounds alone make this a beautiful place to visit. Reflecting on the Sermon on the mount while walking the grounds make this a must-see place. I was very moved. It was one of my favorite places in Israel.

A pretty domed church & garden area, where Jesus is said to have delivered his sermon on the mount. Lovely views over the Sea of Galilee, with a nice souvenir shop & refreshment stand. You can easily visit alongside Capernaum while you're in the area.
