Staying in San Jose and wanted a day at the beach. We had a fab time, it’s a small place with a few restaurants , quite a lot of boutiques and some art galleries

Always a great place and town. One of the finest offered by Northern California. The local shops and restaurants are terrific. Plenty of parking.

Always safe, with plenty of shopping and restaurant choices nearby. Suggest going to Gayles first for excellent food to share at the beach.

Not sure if they have hours posted. I've been there after 10pm and saw a few other people there also. Most other beaches in the area just don't want campfires past 10pm.
