Took the kids here and was totally impressed with the beach. Lots of driftwood! The waves were not too high or rough and lots of shells for my girls to collect. Not a lot of people around either. There is a place for overnight even...More

If you're looking for a great place to camp, this one's a good one. Walk to the beach (down lots of stairs). Campsites are lacking a little right now, the storms have ravaged them. Many of the old Cypress trees were downed in the last...More

Stayed her third week of Sept for 4 days. We had beautiful weather the whole time. Bathrooms are cleaned a couple of time everyday. Nice place to get your walks in, at the camp ground or on the beach.

I've stayed here four or five times I'm the past 5 years. Friendly host and rangers. Close to beach trail and beautiful cliff views. Just a mile or two from Capitola.

I have been camping here for thirty years and love this place, has everything you need. A short walk down to the beach is a plus. They added bear boxes to the sites so that comes in handy due to the raccoons.

This is a review of New Brighton Campground. As we went during the winter, we didn't go to the beach at all, so I won't comment on that. The campground is decent, nice grass to set our tent on which was soft, but also pretty...More

If you are not camping at the beach camp grounds, I think you can drive to the beach during the day and need to pay only for car parking.
