We camped right above the beach and could hear the waves. If you pay for a premium site, you will also have an unobstructed ocean view. I did not give it an excellent review because the campground is huge and has 100 sites. There is...More

Covered picnic area was a beautiful setting for my daughters wedding ceremony. Large trees with natural wood fencing created a beautiful backdrop for all the wedding photos... picnic table can be moved together for a natural and beautiful view of the ocean in the background....More

This is a really great beach for walking--wide open sandy clean beach. Plenty of bathroom along the way. Very good visitors center/gift shop/ranger station.

Took the kids here and was totally impressed with the beach. Lots of driftwood! The waves were not too high or rough and lots of shells for my girls to collect. Not a lot of people around either. There is a place for overnight even...More

If you're looking for a great place to camp, this one's a good one. Walk to the beach (down lots of stairs). Campsites are lacking a little right now, the storms have ravaged them. Many of the old Cypress trees were downed in the last...More

Stayed her third week of Sept for 4 days. We had beautiful weather the whole time. Bathrooms are cleaned a couple of time everyday. Nice place to get your walks in, at the camp ground or on the beach.

If you are not camping at the beach camp grounds, I think you can drive to the beach during the day and need to pay only for car parking.
