Fifty acres of visual splendor, located on a hillside overlooking the Pacific Ocean, make this one of the most beautiful sites on the West Coast. Also on the site are special nurseries, gardens and an award-winning Rose Garden.

The Carlsbad Flower Fields are a great place to spend a few hours admiring the acres of colorful blooms. A tractor powered wagon ride is available for those who'd prefer it to the walking. Bring a camera and have fun!

We try to visit when the flowers are at full bloom. It can be a romantic excursion for couples. Bring a camera, the best pictures can be taken when the sun is low.

I understand that places to charge for the venue, yet this is part of a large commercial nursery...not an amauzement park. I love beautiful photo ops too. Yet, the price for walking around a large nursery is outtrageous. You have been warned. There are many...More

Down here in Carlsbad to take grandson to Legoland and was hoping that the flowers were still in bloom. Looks like they just cut them back a week or so ago. They still have an American flag of flowers on the corner of Airport and...More

I think San Diego Botanical Gardens, 4 freeway exits to the south from the Flower Fields, is a much more rewarding experience at the same admission price. However, it's possible Groupon has an offer for the Flower Fields... More
