It blooms only once a year from before Easter time to early May

This appears to be a flower bulb growing business that branched out to become a tourist attraction. Quite enterprising folks ...they have people waiting in line and trying to find parking spots so they can pay $14! to walk around a dusty bulb farm and shop in a typical garden center type store. Oh, you can also pay $6.50 for... More

Very pretty...but I would not make a special trip just for this. We were seeing some other places and stopped to take a look.

It IS pretty to see the hillside blooming with ranunculus blossoms in shades of pink, orange, red, white, yellow and in between. It's free to look at it from the shopping center below, but if you want to walk amongst the flowers, it's about $12-13 for an adult and $7 per child. Seniors get $1 off. You can walk all... More

Over 40 years ago, we visited the flower fields that we saw then from Rte. 5. When we saw that there is now a more structured arrangement, we had to go see the 'new' version. The ranunculus are as we remembered, with many new additions along the way. We were so glad we took the time and bought tickets. The... More

We did not take a tour, just observed the fields from the Hilton property adjacent to the fields. The flowers seemed to stretch for miles, with a wide variety of flowers and colors. Probably better to see them on the tour, but we were too cheap to spend the money.

Always a delight to view the flower fields when in bloom. At present (3-12-16) a giant American flag is depicted in flowers on the south hill.

The Flower Fields are beautiful a must see if in the area. Best time to travel is from April through June. We have been several times.

We stayed up the hill at Grand Pacific resort. In the mornings we took long walks heading north on Amada drive. We are able to walk and watch the entire acreage, beautiful and relaxing. The locals use the wide sidewalks to do the same.

I love to visit here when the flowers are in full bloom. I recommend following them on Facebook to see updates on the status. When we went last year, it was after a hot spell and a lot if the flowers were past their peak. Wear comfortable walking shoes. The roads are dirt.

The flower fields are really neat and I always look forward to them every year, but I've got to say they are just as neat to look at from just driving around town as they are to go visit. You should visit once. It's kind of cool to walk around and take pictures in all the flowers, but there's not... More
