Old style park, good playground

This is an old style park - lots of big trees, grass, picnic tables, ramadas, and playground. On summer weekends it seems to be the site of lots of birthday parties.

Holiday Park is beautiful. On any given weekday families are there with children from babies to pre-teens. The bathroom facilities are convenient and clean, there are a number of picnic tables, an extensive play structure, and plenty of shade. My nephews, aged 8 and 10, were just visiting and 2 days ago I took them there to play. They loved... More

Nice local park with easy access and parking. Good place for a picnic, take the kids to play or just want to relax in an outdoor environment. Clean and accessible restrooms. Annual Oktoberfest and other activities.

Many picnic tables and a HUGE tree to sit under. A bit noisy since it is next to the Interstate. Great playscape.

Fun Day with Steph, Dave & Oscar, it was so very conveniently located and I love the shaded areas, the volleyball courts and the open fields to play in, beautiful park! Great Trees!

It's centrally located, near the I-5 Freeway. Large enough for the October Fest celebration. Ample parking all around the park. It has a playground, gazebo & restrooms. The only drawback, a bit noisy because being near the Freeway.

Great big park adjacent to the I-5 freeway. It has restrooms and plenty of room for birthday parties or family events. It can be a little noisy due to the freeway but many of the large shade trees help to muffle the sound. Aside from the occasional ice cream truck, there are no food options here.

This is a great park because of the amount of green space for running around with a frisbee, and also a great kids structure area. Unfortunately there are almost always homeless guys sleeping there or hanging out there.

Cute park with a convenient location, near to Rodeway inn hotel, and next to the Highway! Just take a blanket, make a picnic or enjoy a book.

In the heart of Old Carlsbad Holiday Park is a sweet well used park by locals and travelers alike. It has something for everyone. A upgraded playground, horseshoe pits, a sand volleyball pit, picnic areas, greenbelts and its famous band stand. Holiday Park comes I've in October for the best and most well known Obtoberfest in San Diego. Everyone becomes... More
